We would like to introduce our amasing new massage therapist, Sonia Reece.

Sonia’s extensive training in a variety of massage techniques allows her to help provide the deepest healing experience for your individual needs. She offers la stone massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, reflexology, crystal chakra balancing, reiki, thai massage, prenatal, postnatal, and infant ayurvedic massage.

Sonia discovered natural medicine after she sustained a serious spinal injury caused by a snowboarding accident. Sonia healed her injury through yoga, alternative healing modalities and proper nutrition. She is the mother of an ecstatic Bi-lingual toddler, Eli-jah, whom she birthed at home through natural childbirth. Sonia has kept active through competitive swimming, weight lifting, dancing, surfing, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and teaching Yoga.

Greg Bourque L.Ac. will be practicing out of a new location in Sorrento Valley, at San Diego Sports Medicine. On August 9th Greg will be only seeing patients at the Sorrento Valley location. You are all invited to come and enjoy the new location. For those that enjoy the Zen Qi location, Greg has hand picked a new partner, Justin Heesakker, L.Ac.

Like Greg, Justin is a life long athlete. He began swimming competitively at an age of 9. A lifetime of healthy living and training led to graduating from BUD/S class 241 and serving as a Navy SEAL. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Motivated by his own successful results with the healing arts, Justin graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. There he served as a clinical intern at Rady’s Children’s Hospital, San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine, UCSD Sports Medicine Center, and Acusport Wellness Center.

Justin’s interest in treating sports injuries and achieving optimal athletic performance has stemmed from his experiences as a multi-sport athlete. He has successfully treated NCAA, Olympic, and professional athletes ranging from pro skateboarders to NFL players. He has also treated autoimmune disorders, women’s health issues, digestive disorders, and assisted in stroke recovery.

For those clients who have an existing Package with sessions left, you can have them honored through Justin at Zen Qi or through Greg at Sorrento Valley.
